Following on from our succesful 6 week training block at South East Soccer Academy, we are looking forward to coaching our next 12 week training blocks for players 7-16 years outfield and goalkeppers starting August 2019.
Fully recognising the role of the SESA coach our player centered approach focuses on our development plan by which we create a positive football environment enabling players to enjoy and profress their skill development without the added pressure of match day results.
To compliment quality coaching already received at clubs and leagure centres here at SESA, we can provide an additional session to increase your player’s contact hours, through the implementation of age appropriate structured and theme based training sessions with technical practice and small sided games.

Meet the SESA Head Coaches
Yvonne McGrath
Yvonne McGrath is a FAI Elite Grassroots Licenced Coach who is in the final stages of acheiving her UEFA B Licence and has worked with the Football Association of Ireland’s Emerging Talent programmes at U11, U12 and U16 as well as coaching the South East Leinster Region Girls FAI Centre of Excellence U12 & U14. Yvonne played soccer at schoolgirl and Women’s Senior League (DWSL) level in Dublin, before starting out on her coaching pathway.
Yvonne has coached in the Womens National League as well as working as a FAI co-ordinator, overseeing the effective running of Winter Futsal, Walking Football, Intracultural Schools, Soccer Sisters and Summer Soccer Schools. Yvonne regularly attends CPD seminars and workshops by the FAI enabling her to meet the demands of her evolvment in coaching education and to uphold her Elite Grassroots License.
Shane Dunphy
Shane Dunphy holds a BA in Business Studies, Recreation and Leisure and is a FAI Licensed Goalkeeper Coach in the final stages of acheiving his UEFA B Coaching License. Shane has considerable experience in both playing and coaching football at a very high level ranging from Grassroots to Seniors, Goalkeepers, outfield players and is currently coaching with the Football Association of Ireland’s Emerging Talent Programme.
Shane is a referee in SSE Airticity League and a former Leinster FA Cup, Waterford FC and Wexford Youths Goal Keeper as well as a former Irish College International and Irish International Rules Goalkeeper. Shane is currently the Head of Youth Development with his club and intends to impart his wealth of knowledge and experience in football to nurture and educate all players under his guidance.
